Zeke Fortenberry

Zeke Fortenberry is a true trial lawyer. He has handled more than 150 jury trials, which include some of the biggest cases in North Texas in recent years.  In additional to his trial experience in the courtroom, he is known for teaching trial advocacy to other lawyers and law students. For several years, Mr. Fortenberry served as an adjunct faculty member at Southern Methodist University School of Law teaching trial advocacy.  He also has lectured on trial techniques at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He is a frequent speaker and presenter at numerous continuing legal education seminars throughout Texas.

Mr. Fortenberry is active in his community.  In 2016-2017, Zeke served as the chairman of the board for the Texas Young Lawyers Association, where he led over 25,000 young lawyers in Texas in public service to the legal professional and our local communities.  Mr. Fortenberry is the attorney advisor to a high school mock trial team in Plano, Texas where he teaches students the art of courtroom advocacy. He is a volunteer with the Children’s Advocacy Center and a supporter of local law enforcement organizations.  Zeke and his wife are members of the Preston Road Church of Christ.
